This document provides an overview of the some of the main Best Practices for designing database accesses against the Shared SQLServer's.

It has been provided to advise and assist web developers on ways to improve performance and efficiency of their SQL databases in a web hosting environment. Poorly designed databases and inefficient code can cause excessive load on the SQL server.
